Pay Per Click or the abbreviated version "PPC" is a mode of Internet advertising that is utilized on web sites (like blogs for example) as well as search engines and ad networks. Promoters post ad content with a number of such web hosts and the host is remunerated only if and when their ad is clicked. Friendship - Sometimes when the friends and/or family of publishers learn that their friend's business profits when their ads are clicked on, they may decide to do so themselves, thinking that they are helping out. If they overdo it however, they can do more harm than good when the publisher is accused of being involved with click fraud and has their account closed.

While advertising networks make every effort to end fraud by all such parties it's often challenging to know which clicks are legitimate. More often than not the best an advertising network can do is to identify which clicks are most likely fraudulent and not charge the account of the advertiser.

Improve Web Site Rankings With On Page Optimization Techniques

On-page optimization is where you should begin and SEO campaign. What you do on your web site and various web pages has a significant impact on search engine results. Even though off-page optimization is a critical component for higher rankings, on-page techniques are essential for building a strong SEO foundation.

Below are a few helpful search engine optimization strategies you can use right now to make your web site more accessible to search engines and as a result, improve your search engine rankings.

Optimize Your Web Site URL. When planning to build a new website, be very careful about the domain name you choose. Select a name that will be memorable and is something you want to build your business around. You obviously do not want to limit your options significantly. Do so can limit the future development of your business. You should however, include your keyword or keyword phrase into your URL if possible.

Optimize Your Page Title and Header Tags Including H1 and H2. Develop a title that is relevant to your website content and which has no more that sixty characters. Optimize Your Meta Tags. Search engine optimization experts debate the value of meta tags for search engine ranking enhancement. I can tell you that meta tags include a variety of tags including title, description, and keywords. Even though meta tags are less important that it was many years ago, it still plays an important role in optimization.

Meta tags are used as a starting point and reference for search engines seeking to rank your website. Your meta tags need to be aligned to web site content and include your most important keywords. I suggest limiting your keywords to twelve and limiting your description to about 150 words. By doing so you eliminate the chance that a search engine considers your content as questionable.

Optimize your keyword density for Google. Creating a keyword rich content page is essential but do not get carried away. Your keyword density should be around 3 or 4 percent, no more. Some people believe that you could go as high as six percent for Yahoo! optimization but Google seems to like pages that have a smaller keyword density. From my perspective you are better off focusing on the placement of your keywords and the type of emphasis you provide. Remember to focus on H1 and H2 tags and place keywords at the beginning, middle, and end of your web page. In addition you should have an instance of each keyword phrase in bold, italics, and underlined. This variety again reinforces the value of your links.

Varying Your Keyword Phrase. Each time you list your keyword phrase, change it up a bit. Rather than stuffing your site with the same keyword phrases again and again, use keyword variety. One way to do this is to add a word or two before your keyword phrase and after it. Creating variety is critical because it shows each search engine that your site is really about the core content you are promoting.

The most vital part of any search engine optimization campaign is to create a site that utilizes SEO but doesn't over due it. Make your web site appear natural, include valuable content, and follow on-page optimization best practices. This will keep your site ranked well among most major search engines.

I have. Again and again I sent out my emails, but when you only have a handful of people on your list, you do not get much in the way of results. I admit, I have failed miserable at selling through emails.

Is it possible that we have been sold a bill of goods? Or, is it possible we need a few more secrets to make it work just right for us?

Then I stumbled upon a secret about email marketing the gurus did not tell me.

Yes, all the gurus will tell you that selling through emails is the solution, but then they tell you about the "can spam" issue. Basically, unless you have your own acquired list developed painstakingly over months and months of giveaways, don't do it.

None of us want to receive spam or emails that we just do not want. I have a whole bunch of emails that automatically go to my junk mail file every day.

The situation then is this: we just cannot send out enough emails to make email promotion work like it is suppose to. Right?

What if someone with a large fully functioning opt-in mailing list would allow us to send our email ad to their list? It certainly would not be spam.

One day I saw this ad from an online marketing service company. They offered to send out my email ad to their huge list of opt-in consumers. In just a few minutes, my ad was delivered to millions.

I suppose there are many different ways to do this, but since I have always been told I needed my own list; I use this bulk email approach to build my list. I take my usual, opt-in offer and set it up to receive the responses from the bulk selling through emails. I offer my free item, and thousands sign up on my list. Now I can legitimately market to them again and again at no additional cost.

Now there is hope. My enlarged email list gives me the opportunity to really expand my email promotion efforts. Now I can expect a return on my investment.

When it comes to my emails, I try to make each one count. I avoid sending too many too soon. I want to deliver about one every four to five days. Words like free are left out. They are usually short and practical.

Good content is simply giving my customer, what they are looking for. That is what I want to give them. Some kind of call to action is included in each email to encourage readers to visit the website or even buy something.

How to Attract Buyers to any Website.

If you are trying to make money online, then you will need to promote a website, whether you own the URL of that site or whether it is an affiliate link is not important

Whether you own the site or not, the problem remains the same - how do you get enough interested visitors to your site, so that, if they like your product and can afford it, they will have a chance to buy it, before they get bored and move on.

This is the most important problem that faces every single Internet marketer and it is called attracting targeted traffic, getting relevant visitors or something similar. It all comes to the same thing ultimately. If no one can see your product, they cannot buy it or if your visitors are mainly young people interested in swimming, it is no good trying to sell them parachutes.

So, obviously you need as many visitors to your website, who are interested in your product, as you can handle. This means that you need to be highly ranked in the search engines so that people can find your site. The biggest and most often-used search engine is Google. So, how do you get your site ranked highly in Google?

There are millions of books and ebooks on the subject, but without exception, the serious ones come to the same conclusion (unless they were written by self-interested safe-list or traffic exchange owners) and that conclusion is that you need links to your site.

Very few people honestly know how Google ranks sites, but it is generally agreed that the more sites linking to a site the better. This has lead some webmasters to exchange links with each other. This is an easy way to get links and Google can recognize reciprocal links. The best links are one-way links, because it shows that someone values your site enough to want to be associated with it. These are called back links.

So, the real problem comes down to how to get enough back links to your site to persuade Google (and the other search engines) that you run such an important site that they should rank it highly for your chosen keywords, which should be relevant to the content of your website. How do you do that?

There are several strategies you can use such as traffic exchanges, safelists, FFAs, forums and writing articles, but to be honest, the first three of these are a total waste of time. I used to own a safelist and have wasted many thousands of hours on traffic exchanges. Posting to forums can be useful, but then ONLY if the link on your post is a follow link. If it is not, it doesnt do any good at all and most are no follow links. This means that you have to do some research to find the forums where your post is worth placing (more on this later). That leaves writing articles as the ONLY sure way to get rock-solid back-links to your site based on your site's relevant keywords.

So, you write an article on a subject relevant to your site stuffed (but not over-stuffed) with relevant keywords and then what? Thats easy! You search Google for article directories and blogs, sign up to a couple of dozen and post your article to them.

And that is the definitive method of getting the sort of links you need to get your site highly ranked, so that people can find you and have a chance to buy what you are selling. The only catch is that Google will expect to see new links appearing on the Internet on a regular basis, which means writing and posting time after time after time after time ad infinitum. Or does it?

Yes, it does! But the process can be automated and automation is the key to online success. Set up a proven, successful process and let it run " day and night: all day and all night! I use a system that helps you turn your article into thousands of variations and posts them to thousands of sites, creating thousands of back-links!

But don't think that these variations are just spun! (The industry standard way of creating article variations is to use spinning software to substitute synonyms and pseudo-synonyms eg crimson for scarlet in a random way. This works to a certain degree but can produce pure gibberish too sometimes - who would recognize Crimson O'Hara?). The system I use does not employ this method, but still produces thousands or variants all written by human hand. Then it sends them out to article directories and blogs etc.. Thousands of them. In fact today, there are over 11,000 sites on their list and the list is kept fresh on a monthly basis. Most similar lists are not well maintained because it is so time-consuming to do. Therefore, many contain lots of dead, useless links.

This system takes your article, creates thousands of variations and then posts them to thousands of sites. All with your sites link in the by-line, which can also be varied. But not only that! It only posts your article to lists and categories that deal with sites like yours (based on your chosen keywords) and posts according to a schedule chosen by you: ie 10, 20, 50, 100, 1,000 posts a day, starting on any future date you choose! So, for example, you could write three articles and have the first one go out starting the next day at 150 a day; the second one starting after seven days at 150 sites a day; and the third starting after two weeks at a rate of 75 sites a day.

That would give your site at least 3,000 links in a month or 100 a day " all for 2-3 hours work! If you wrote one article a day (an hours work) and it got posted to only 1,000 relevant sites, you would have 30,000 relevant links in a month. Imagine writing an article a day and having it go out to 50 sites a day! After 10 days you would have 500 extra links a day: 15,000 links a month! What about three hours work a day (three articles)? 45,000 extra links a month. Plus all the webmasters who would copy your articles to their sites, ezines and blogs. Would that help you sell your product or not?
